Founding 50 membership terms
Last updated 27 October 2026
These terms apply to the Founding 50 membership for horses in the USA and Canada. They sit alongside our cancellations and refunds policy, delivery policy and privacy notice. Please read them before you start your membership.
1. Who we are
The Founding 50 is run by Absolute Equestrian Collective Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16889803, VAT number GB508027218), whose registered office is at Brambles, Reading Road, Padworth Common, Berkshire RG7 4QN, United Kingdom. "We", "us" and "our" mean Absolute Equestrian Collective Ltd.
2. What the membership is
The Founding 50 is a membership for up to fifty clients in the USA and Canada. Each membership is for one or multiple horses and includes:
- the Absolute Fundamentals feeding system (CORE, MOVE and FLOW) in the correct feed rate for your horse, a quarter's supply at a time, delivered every three months;
- your member portal, where you keep your horse's record, send monthly check-ins and message our team;
- replies from our team, which we aim to give within 24 hours, and questions for our nutritionist.
Absolute Fundamentals products are complementary feeding stuffs, not veterinary medicines. Our team are not vets: our guidance is nutritional and based on what you tell us and the photos you share. Always follow your vet's advice about your horse's health.
3. Applying and joining
Applying is free and does not commit you to anything. We review every application individually and may ask follow-up questions. We may offer a place, put a horse on the waiting list or decline an application, and we don't have to give a reason. An offer of a place is not a contract: your membership starts only when you complete the first payment in your member portal.
4. Price and payment
All prices are in US dollars. The founding rate is $995 a quarter (three months) for each horse, the same for every size of horse. Delivery is included. Import duties, taxes and customs charges are not included and are your responsibility: if any are due, the courier will contact you for payment. We cannot give a refund for a shipment that is returned or destroyed because charges were not paid (see our delivery policy).
For each horse, you start by paying $995, which pays for your first quarter; your first box is sent straight away. You then choose how to pay for each following quarter:
- Monthly: $331.67 a month, taken on the same day each month as the day you started; or
- Quarterly: $995 every three months, taken on the day each box is due to ship.
Either way, each quarter is paid for in full before your quarter's supply ships. The founding rate stays the same for as long as your membership continues without a break. If we ever offer you a different price, we will agree it with you in writing before it applies.
5. Your saved card and automatic payments
When you make your first payment, you ask us to save your card so that we can take the payments in section 4 automatically, on the dates set out there, until your membership ends. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.
Your member portal always shows your plan, your next payment date and amount, and your payment history. If a payment fails, we will tell you by email and in your portal and try again after 2, 4 and 7 days. You can update your card at any time in your portal. If a quarter has not been paid for by the day its box is due to ship, we hold that box until it is paid; we never ship on credit.
You can withdraw your permission for automatic payments by ending your membership as described in section 7.
6. The 1-year minimum
The Founding 50 is designed around a full year, so each membership has a minimum term of 12 months from the day you start. Apart from your cancellation rights in our cancellations and refunds policy, you agree to keep your membership, and pay for it, for those 12 months.
If something serious changes, such as the loss of your horse, please talk to us. We will always accommodate ending a membership early in exceptional circumstances.
7. Ending your membership
After the 12-month minimum, you can end your membership at any time from your member portal, or by emailing founding50@absoluteequestriancollective.co.uk. Your membership then ends when the quarter you have already started paying for finishes: you receive that quarter's box, and no further payments are taken.
We may end a membership by giving you at least 30 days' notice. If we do, we will refund any payment you have made for a shipment that will not be sent. We may also end a membership straight away if payments remain unpaid after we have tried to collect them, or if a member is abusive to our team.
8. Monthly check-ins and your horse's record
As a member you agree to complete a short check-in each month, with photos, so we can follow your horse's progress and adjust our guidance. How we use and protect this information is explained in our privacy notice.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example to reflect changes in the law or how the membership works. We will tell you about any important change by email at least 30 days before it applies. Changes will never increase your price without your agreement.
10. Our responsibility to you
We supply products that are as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their purpose, and we provide our services with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing in them affects your legal rights as a consumer.
We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as courier or customs delays. Because individual horses vary, we do not promise any particular result from the feeding system.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in the USA or Canada, you keep any protection given to you by the mandatory consumer laws of your state or province. If you have a problem, please contact us first at founding50@absoluteequestriancollective.co.uk; we will do our best to put it right.
